From the clarity of colour and type of weave indicates anarcahaic specimin confounded by a simple plainweave pattern. This piece probably once had a twin panel and given that the combined dimensions would have measured approx 370 x 142cm in keeping with typical two part kilims from Central Asia Minor of the period. Camel undyed wool is present amongst the colours.
