French or Muscovy antique small gilt silk brocade fragment (46 x 21cm)

46 x 21 cm  //  1ft 6" x 8"

This small fragment is in a remarkably bright and fresh state of preservation. It seems to have never been exposed to light and the purity of silver and gold metal is likely, although untested.
