These type of embroidered textiles are commonly associated with the Aleppo ' aghbani ' silk embroideries but this tradition was also practised in Denizli ( The ancient Greek city Hierapolis ) and probably elswhere in Western Asia Minor. The original maker is given by the surviving manufacuers label VELİ ÇALIŞIR and given the four digit telephone number it dates it to the 1950s
