Turkish antique Anatolian kilim (405 x 89cm)

This antique kilim originally had a companion twin part that joined in the length, unifying the pattern with a surround border. The half kilim has traces of cotton which betrays its origins to the semi nomadic pastoralist populations between Adana and Akseray in central southern Anatolian part of Turkey. The design may be derived from elebelinda / elibelinda and carnations.

Condition: There are a few faults and holes mostly seen in the photos
