Made in Western Turkey this oddly handsome long rug is in a very much older style. This carpet is more akin to something made in the early 19th cent however given some of the colour with early acid dyes this has to date to the later 19th cent. It's unusual format is also reminiscent of something more archaic. In good pile condition.
