A Lakai or Aral type silk embroidery possibly from a mafrash, bohçe or Ok Bash faces. Made up from amalgamated parts the main piece on red felted 'Stroud' type wool broadcloth with a surround on black taken from another of similar age with later applied.
Condition: Has suffered moth damage ( now stabilised ) part of the back is unpicked yeilding a 19th cent print.
